I'm Meghan, a young mid-weight art director with a curious mind & determination to learn from the world around me

What have I been up to?

In 2021, I graduated with a first class honours degree in Visual communications from Technological University Dublin, where my projects focused heavily on digital experiences and typography. My excellence in typography was recognised from the International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) where I was awarded with a Merit and gained membership to the society. Secondly I was also awarded with the Jacques Teljeur Award for Excellence in Typography issued by School of Creative Arts.

Since then I worked for Alltech on a short term contract as an in-house graphic designer. Shortly after leaving, I joined CMS Marketing as a junior art director and progressed to a mid-weight art director since. I have expanded on my print design, typography and artwork skill set to include conceptual digital ideation and content creation (including film editing and motion graphics) across many clients.

I have worked on creative development for brand experiences including Paddy Power (Comedy festival and regional poker events), NBI (National ploughing Championships festival and DM essentials), Bank of Ireland (All Together Now festival) and on major graduate shows for Grant Thornton which included art directing a full suite of original photography. Following this I have led the rebrand of Wax in the City which includes studio refits, website design, social assets, product packaging, sales collateral and assets essential for a smooth rebrand and launch.

While keeping agency work as a priority, I also manage to do some freelance work. This mainly comprises of rebrands and brand awareness development.
